Condition grades 1-5, what does that mean?

The condition and value appraisal of oldtimers, youngtimers, classics and exotics serves to identify the vehicle and provides detailed information about the vehicle's condition and value.
After an initial appraisal of the vehicle, where it is assessed for the first time in terms of condition and value, repeat inspections should be carried out every two years with a new determination of the value. The market for classic cars is constantly developing and has also become highly interesting for investors.

    In 1895, the "Wolseley Sheep Shearing Company" founded a subsidiary in Birmingham. There, Herbert Austin began developing three-wheeled vehicles. In 1896, the first Wolseley automobile was introduced. Austin left Wolseley in 1905 and founded his own company, the Austin Motor Company.
    From 1910, the vehicles were marketed as Wolseley-Siddeley. Constuctor John Davenport Siddeley was managing director of the company during this period. In 1927, the company went bankrupt and was taken over by Morris taken over.

  • The Mercedes SL (W113) - a dream on wheels

    The W 113 is a two-seater folding-roof convertible from Mercedes-Benz, which was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1963. It was intended to replace the 190 SL and 300 SL models at the same time. It was nicknamed the Pagoda because of its additionally available inwardly curved hardtop. It was built a total of 48,912 times in the 230 SL (1963-1967), 250 SL (1967) and 280 SL (1968-1971) versions, optionally with manual or automatic transmission.

    For an additional charge, the car was also available as a roadster (2+2) with a hardtop without a soft top/top box and a full-length rear bench seat. This California model was offered by Mercedes as a "special version without roadster soft top with enlarged rear seat".
